we women love our fashion, but we also love that our men are equally up to trend too!
FYI- As much as I love and breathe fashion I married the complete opposite.
My significant other could very well continue to wear his clothes till they hang from a thread.
(I kid you not!!) He is a man of no excess : ( thou shall not want more than you need )
For every new item acquired, he donates of equal amount. That must be why he has such great control over his share of the closet.

Here are some of the best men's street fashion trends
My feeling is : I love the look on a hipster kind of 20 something guy.
But not necessarily what I’d like to wake up to each morning.
Unless it's Matthew McConaughey of course !

Ok getting down to business… cause that’s what MEN are all about right?
Yes, Beards and any kind of facial hair is a trendy accessory these days.
Seen worn by many various celebrities at the Golden Globes this past Sunday.

As companies incorporate casual attire into the workplace, more and more men are
loosening up ! They are leaving their ties behind and favouring the dressed-down suiting look.

The most important trend I see is the look of the Casual Blazer ( slightly adjusted & deconstructed). The key in wearing this look is in the layering.
Worn over a vest, V-neck or over a lightweight cardigan…. you just can't go wrong with the Casual Blazer.
Tweeds & Textured weaves are an easy way to incorporate this look ,and nothing pairs better with a Blue DENIM Jean than a great Navy Blazer.

Gone is the look of the conventional matchy-matchy pant & jacket ensemble look.
Mixing and matching is the current approach.
Unless it’s Blue- the blue suit has trumped the grey tailleur this season on the street scene.

Different Shades of Green are another important feature.
Hunter green - I like the way this colour is used to colour casual plaids, tie designs and sweaters.
Military green- Camouflage inspired pieces ,Utilitarian jackets and lots of Parkas.
There is also a brighter green pigment also showing, but I would save that for the ÜBER fashionable or as accent colouring.

Accessories: haphazardly tied scarves are trendy, beanies and beards. I also found this whole crazy patterned sock look really cool.

I know in warmer climates the no sock look is hot, but I figured here in Canada socks rule!
Go against the grain and stop matching your socks to your suits …. or pants and
add a little punch to your footwear and let your quirky style come through !
